  • "Sitting is the new smoking."
  • We're no longer as active as we used to be.
  • 20 minutes of inactivity that your body starts to atrophy, according to study by Dr. Joan.
  • Work against gravity because your system do start to shut down after 20 minutes.
  • Do "power-by-the-hour" - simple exercises to help you more invigorated through the day.
  • Drink enough water throughout the day which is half of your body weight in ounces.
  • Do small exercises throughout the day.
  • Create a neurological association of exercise in a normal activity.
  • You don't need a full hour to workout. If you do something consistently throughout the day, it's going to help burn more calories, going to keep your metabolism burning and it's going to keep the blood flowing throughout your body for clarity and energy.
  • Calf raises or wall sit while on a call conference, etc. can also be effective.
  • Start with 30 seconds and build yourself with longer time. More muscle built is more fat burned.
  • Working out consistently, daily, minimizes risk of illnesses.
  • You have to eat to live and not living to eat.
  • Eating healthy is expensive is a misnomer.
  • Exercise doesn't have to be a big, dramatic thing. It's all about using mind-muscle connections.
  • Deep breathing helps to bring oxygen to your brain bringing clarity.
  • Break barriers mentally so our body could go where our mind want it to be by joining Wendie's programs.
